The MGS-550 Dual Gas Detector from Bacharach combines versatility and precision in a single platform. Using interchangeable sensor technologies — including electrochemical, MOS semiconductor, catalytic bead, and infrared — it offers reliable detection for a wide range of refrigerants, toxic, and combustible gases. It meets ASHRAE 15 and EN 378 requirements and can be connected to building control systems via multiple analog outputs or Modbus RTU. Three programmable relays allow independent operation without a central system. With its modular design, the unit can be upgraded from one to two sensors at any time. Features include IP66 protection, built-in sound and light alarms, extended temperature tolerance (-40 to +50°C), and support for gases such as R-410A, R-404A, R-717 ammonia, and R-744 CO₂.
